What is a Dino Dash? Saturday May 11th, 2024
A fun run/race where dinosaurs are hidden throughout the course for your enjoyment.
1 mile fun run/walk- this will be passive and dinosaurs will not chase, spook or do anything that might provoke tears
5K race- the dinosaurs may or may not chase, spook, and try to scare the participants
The courses will have approximately 16 dinosaurs (people in costumes) total!
After both races, the dinosaurs will be in the upper field to roam around for pictures and interactive fun. There will also be a bouncy house set up for the kids and plenty of refreshments available for everyone. We encourage young and old alike to come dressed as dinosaurs if they desire.
This will be a non-profit race. There will be no fundraising and no prizes. Each participant will receive a race bag, a race bib and a shirt as long as they are registered before 4/11. Our goal with the Dino Dash is to promote running among our community while meeting the costs of the day.
Race Day Schedule
Time Event
7AM – 8 AM Packet/bag Pick-up
8:10 AM 1-mile Dino Dash (run/walk)
8:30 AM 5K Dino Chase
Online registration is closed. There will be day-of registration 6:30am-7:30am at the race.
